Workers recently began laying the block foundation for the plant's new electrical building.
A new concrete oxidation ditch will replace the old earthen basin for treating raw sewage. The rebar reinforcements for the slab were in place in early December.
New 18" yard pipe has been installed from the clarifier, past the old blower building, to the oxidation ditch.
